I have always been a WTMJ fan (even while living in Ohio and Illinois) but now I have lost all respect for the station. He is absolutely awful -- cannot stand his constant lecturing and his attitude of 'did you know I was he mayor of Oak Creek and so I know how to run this country!\" Scott Waras seems to be emulating Scafetti -- much to the detriment of his broadcasts. WTMJ used to be THE station -- professional and reliable. No longer. And how can you call yourself Wisconsin's Radio Station when I can't listen to the station after sunset?? Gene Mueller, Jeff Wagner, John Mercure are really good...Eric Bilstead wonderful (when Scafetti lets him), and Wayne Lariee another .","2020-06-26T13:57:56.000Z",{"id":57,"user_name":53,"comment":58,"submit_date":59,"score":49},713993,"Geez! I have been a listener to the show for years. Today was the first time I called in. I was excited and nervous to be chosen. The topic was about a bar b que joint in Madison, and people complaining about the smell. I told the screener that I had lived in many cities and that each had an industry that created a smell. Some good some bad. I also stated that I grew to accept the smell as I became part of the community. That I wasn't aware of it when I moved in, but grew to associate it with the neighborhood. The screener suggested that I \"lead\" with the fact that I didn't know about the smell til after I moved in. MY point was that I embraced it. When put on the air... I followed directions, and led with \"whether the smell was there before the complainer was\". I was set up. Charlie Sykes used every cheap noise play he had in his arsenal. I \"lead\" stupidly, with the line I was instructed to, and NEVER got another word out. I was belittled misunderstood. The experience, sadly, has left me with NO respect for a station I have followed for YEARS. I am feeling that everything said about the media may be true! SEE YA LATER TMJ!!! AND yah, maybe IT IS time for Charlie to retire!","2016-10-26T03:17:38.000Z",false]
